Gold, Gold and more Gold!

If you've received a wedding invitation in the mail this year I can bet there was some shiny element to it.  With the popularity of foil stamp printing, invitations have included some pretty tasteful bling.  And with that comes the gold addressing.  I think every other job I've done this season has been with gold ink.  I've gone through 5 bottles of my favorite, Spectralite 54K Gold, and my stirring machine has gotten a good workout. Gold ink is beautiful, but the hidden advantage is that it does not smear on the envelope, it dries fast, and if kept constantly stirred, it does not have light and dark areas in the finished lettering.  Gold ink....it's not just for 50th wedding anniversaries anymore!
